What is Pre-sessional English?

Pre-sessional courses are for international students who hold an offer to study a degree at MetFilm School and need to meet their English language requirement. They provide you with a high level of support with academic and language skills and prepare you to succeed.

If you pass your Pre-sessional course and meet your requirements, you will progress to your main academic course at MetFilm School.

Open to students aged 17+ with a conditional offer from MetFilm School, requiring an IELTS score up to 1.0 band lower than the course requirement.

Guaranteed Progression
Passing the course enables guaranteed progression to a MetFilm School higher education programme – no further tests are required.
