Overview
MetFilm School students are predominantly based within Molecule Studios, our state-of-the-art filmmaking facility. MetStudios students will also have access to this building, making it ideal for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Based in the Alt-Treptow district of Berlin, Molecule Studios was once the headquarters of AGFA, an internationally-renowned photography company which has been operating for over 150 years.
Renovated and renamed after Berlin’s famous Molecule Man landmark, the studio is home to coworking spaces, recording studios, post-production suites, and creative prototyping workshops. It’s the perfect location for MetFilm School and MetStudios students to study and create together.
Molecule Studios is the primary teaching location for MetFilm School Berlin. Students will also have access to House of Music, which is only a 10-minute cycle (or 30-minute walk) away.
